Business Development Manager, Multi-Platform Partnerships

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive multi-platform partnership revenue across our portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure high-value partnerships that align with our business objectives.
With a strong understanding of the media industry and a proven track record in sales, you will identify opportunities to expand our reach and engagement with new audiences. Your expertise in building relationships with agencies and clients will enable you to negotiate and close deals that drive revenue growth.
In this role, you will work closely with our markets and agency trading teams to develop and execute effective pitches and proposals. You will also collaborate with our editorial, publishing, product, tech, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities.
Your focus will be on driving maximum digital revenue across our portfolio, while also exploring opportunities in other areas such as print, video, and live events. To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to secure high-value partnerships across multiple platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and clients to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities
- Develop and pitch compelling proposals to secure new business
- Manage and maintain accurate records and pipelines in our CRM system
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in the media industry
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and current trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
