Job Opportunity

Experis is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases across various levels, with a primary focus on system testing, as well as unit tests and integration tests involving SQL and Azure Data Factory.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage meets project requirements and quality standards.
  • Use SQL for querying and validating data as part of the testing process, and ensure accurate integration between SQL and Azure Data Factory components.
  • Execute tests, report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Perform PySpark testing in Databricks, ensuring that big data solutions are reliable and performant.
  • Document test cases, test results, and provide clear and concise reporting on testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software testing, with a strong ability to convert requirements into coded test cases.
  • Proficiency in writing test cases using SpecFlow at various levels, particularly system testing, as well as unit and integration tests.
  • Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and Azure Data Factory for integration testing.
  • Experience with PySpark testing in Databricks.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
