Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools to streamline the testing process and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QA team members, promoting best practices and ensuring a high level of code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- 3+ years of proven work experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on automated testing and test frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the quality process in an Agile culture.
- Knowledge of external cloud testing solutions such as AWS Device Farm or BrowserStack.
- Experience writing BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Serenity/another BDD tool.
- Ability to occasionally travel and hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions that limit border crossing between Canada and the USA.
