About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within the department.
  • Need high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Manage an ultrasound quality assurance program.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate diploma/DMU in Medical Ultrasound.
  • Post-registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting, including Gynae pelvis scanning.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective teamwork.
