Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Network Plus Services.
As a Grab Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to transport excavated waste and deliver materials to construction sites in the highway.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment and experience working with hydraulic grabs. A CPCS, ALLMI or NPORS Lorry loader qualification is essential.
You will work closely with the excavation and re-instatement teams to achieve high outputs while maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate an HGV Grab lorry
- Load excavated waste and deliver materials i.e. ducts and chambers for construction work in the highway
- Back fill with sand and stone of all trenches
- Undertake out of hours standby support duties when required
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum based on experience, along with a full benefits package.
