Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lexington Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional food quality to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Menu Development: Work closely with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials, ensuring that they meet the high standards of our clients.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our clients.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior chef role, preferably in a high-volume catering environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Food Safety Certification: Hold a valid food safety certification, such as HACCP or Food Safety Management.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
