Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient mental health service in Luton. As a Band 5 OT, you will work closely with our experienced Specialist OT to develop your skills and knowledge, with a focus on enabling you to become a senior practitioner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for adults with mental health problems.
- Utilize assessment and evaluation tools from the Model of Human Occupation to inform treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and enhance the OT programme.
- Contribute to the development of the OT service through quality improvement initiatives.
- Essential:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- State Registration.
- Fieldwork Educator Training.
- Member of College of Occupational Therapists.
- Post-qualifying experience in Mental Health.
- Experience of working with people experiencing mental health problems.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting and enabling people with complex needs.
