As a key member of our tax team, you will provide technical support to local partners and client service teams, including HNW clients and Trusts. Your primary focus will be on developing the private client compliance and advisory client base in the South West through business development, networking, and establishing and maintaining relationships with other professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with consultancy work, including compliance as required, for a range of HNW personal clients, large corporates, and Owner Managed Businesses
  • Researching specialized tax issues and undertaking and managing advisory assignments
  • Providing feedback and support to tax managers, directors, and partners
  • Maintaining proactive internal links between all tax functions to ensure a consistent approach to client services
  • Supporting broader team development and assisting in firm-wide training activities as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain credibility internally and externally with clients and across a professional network
  • Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering a high-quality service
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently, analyzing information and situations to generate reasoned and risk-based recommendations and solutions
  • ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional experience, plus CTA or qualified by experience
  • Proven experience of tax advisory and compliance expertise in corporate tax
