About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Manager to lead our team in delivering complex environmental conservation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of environmental consultants, overseeing project delivery, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of environmental consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and expertise across a variety of projects.
  • Oversee and sign off on major projects, including contaminated land assessments, flood risk management, and environmental sampling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice and ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
  • Lead fieldwork activities, including soil logging, environmental sampling, and spill response coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to uphold ISO and environmental standards within our Integrated Management System.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in contaminated land management, site investigations, and environmental assessments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • A proven track record in managing complex environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • A full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel for site-based projects.
