About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a popular 2-form entry mainstream primary school that is dedicated to nurturing and supporting children with mixed abilities, including communication and interaction difficulties, and cognitive disorders.

The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and have relevant classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working 1:1 with an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2
  • Creating and leading intervention sessions for SEN groups
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Following pupils' targets in line with their EHCP
  • Monitoring pupils' progress
Requirements:
  • Experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
