WM Brokers, a division of Brown & Brown Europe, is seeking a skilled Account Executive to become part of our friendly and professional team in Ipswich.

The Account Executive role is a vital sales and advisory function that entails providing and renewing insurance contracts, either individually or as part of a broader portfolio, to clients within the business sector.

In this position, you will oversee an established portfolio of clients while also being encouraged to engage with new inquiries to broaden the Company's clientele and support the achievement of new business objectives.

As an Account Executive, you will be expected to provide high-quality, effective advice and exceptional customer service, along with a dedication to your own professional growth.

Collaboration and efficiency with colleagues across both Broking and Service departments will be essential to ensure the successful attainment of overall goals.


Daily Responsibilities:

Deliver administrative assistance and client servicing for designated Account Executives or Small Business Units (SBU) as needed, in a professional, timely, and efficient manner - managing quotes, new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.

Ensure outstanding service to clients, prioritizing Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all interactions.

Provide clients with suitable insurance coverage and guidance while maintaining competitive pricing.

Advise insurers regarding all new business, modifications, and renewal transactions.

Engage with clients to ensure they are fully informed about the coverage provided and any potential gaps, significant terms, conditions, or exclusions.

Coordinate with clients and premium credit providers on any failed installment cases.

Ensure that any formal complaints or potential complaints are promptly referred to the Compliance Officer or a Director.

Assist the claims department with coverage-related and other technical inquiries.

Collaborate with the claims department as necessary to confirm loss experience at each renewal.

Your Qualifications:
Experience in general insurance, either in broking or underwriting
Capability to manage new business inquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments of insurance policies
Strong customer service and negotiation abilities
Effective planning, administrative, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to represent the Company professionally
Ability to cultivate successful, mutually beneficial business relationships with all stakeholders, including prospects, clients, insurers, and colleagues.
