Job Title: Drilling Operations Manager

Atlas Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Drilling Operations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of drilling and well control operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sit on the Development Board with Drilling Systems Team Members to drive innovation and improvement.
  2. Hold the Software Manager accountable for meeting OTR development requirements.
  3. Work closely with the Support Manager to resolve OTR issues efficiently.
  4. Lead regular team meetings to discuss technical support and content development.
  5. Provide customer demonstrations to showcase the company's capabilities.
  6. Take ownership of all rig visits, ensuring effective customer communication and account management.
  7. Control new feature development and testing to ensure seamless integration.
  8. Oversee new content development to maintain a high level of quality.
  9. Drive the implementation of new learning content to enhance employee skills.
  10. Participate in exhibitions as required to promote the company's products.
  11. Collaborate with customers to align the product development roadmap with their needs.
  12. Travel regularly to company locations, training centers, and client sites to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  1. Proactive, accurate, and detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  2. Previous drilling experience with a strong understanding of drilling operations.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to analyze complex data.
  4. Able to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  5. Passionate about new product development and technology.

  1. Strong communication skills in all forms, including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. A positive attitude towards dealing with people and able to work independently.
  4. Capable of hands-on problem-solving and generating ideas and solutions.
  5. Able to use initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  6. Ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks efficiently.
