Your role as a consultant will vary based on client needs and your unique skill set, encompassing responsibilities such as:
- Implementing DevOps methodologies to streamline development and IT operations, enhancing the speed and quality of technical solutions.
- Designing and managing a project's Deployment Pipeline, ensuring a seamless transition of application and infrastructure services from development to production.
- Establishing a balanced management approach that organizes diverse technical activities into a cohesive workflow.
- Collaborating with client development teams and third-party vendors to promote transparency and effective delivery practices.
- Providing thought leadership in DevOps, focusing on continuous improvement in our delivery strategies to meet client needs.
- Contributing to a diverse and inclusive team culture where every member's contributions are valued.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with technologies relevant to:
- Delivering scalable solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive cloud infrastructure.
- Implementing DevSecOps best practices for efficient production pathways (e.g., infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, release automation).
- Creating containerized applications and cloud-native architectures.
- Utilizing popular CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Employing scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Using configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Holding Linux systems administration certification at RHCSA level or equivalent experience.
- Configuring monitoring and alerting tools for live systems.
- Working within agile development frameworks and methodologies.
- Engaging in multi-supplier project environments.
- Having prior development experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
