**Lead Android Product Designer**

We are seeking an experienced Lead Android Product Designer to join our Digital Product team at ASOS. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for leading the design of digital products, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive business value.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing for Android, leveraging their deep understanding of Material Design and Android-specific design principles to craft seamless, native-feeling user experiences tailored to the platform.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the design of digital products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the design process.
  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
  • Presentation design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Mentor junior designers, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall design quality.

**Requirements:**

  • 7+ years of experience in designing for Android, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in Material Design and Android-specific design principles.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality UX designs that meet business objectives and delight users.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
  • Experience with user research methods, including usability testing and A/B testing.

**Salary:** £80,000 - £100,000 per year
