Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Pathways to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our learners on entry level and Level 1 courses.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that motivate students to reach their full potential, crafting innovative schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments that align with best practices, and contributing to our enrichment programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and Educate: Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire students to succeed.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement effective schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Student Enrichment: Contribute to our enrichment programs, including study trips and live projects.
  • Pastoral Care: Support the diverse needs of our learners, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with local partners on meaningful projects that enhance learning and community ties.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive excellence in teaching, with a focus on improving retention, success rates, and overall student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Teaching: A strong desire to help others succeed.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Further Education Experience: Experience in Further Education is desirable but not essential.
