About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead our new development in Saffron Walden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire construction cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material coordination, site presentation, and cost control.
  • Lead a team of site staff and ensure they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, specialists, and in-house teams to achieve critical objectives.
  • Ensure the development is built to the highest quality standards, meeting Company and NHBC requirements.

Requirements

  • Black or white CSCS card.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and a qualified First Aider at Work.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
