Teaching Assistant for SEN Students

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs. As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of our students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and delivering targeted interventions to meet individual students' needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop holistic education plans.
  • Observing and recording student progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting interventions accordingly.
  • Establishing positive relationships with students and families, ensuring their comfort and confidence.
  • Upholding safeguarding policies and procedures to maintain a secure learning environment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • A recognised teaching assistant qualification (at least Level 2).
  • Prior experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a London setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The daily rate for this role is approximately £85-90, taking into account industry standards for teaching assistants in Greater London.
