Sales Ledger Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Assistant to join our team at Reed Specialist Recruitment. As a Sales Ledger Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, issue, and record invoices
  • Post receipts from various payment methods
  • Reconcile ledgers and analyze debtors
  • Carry out credit control on all debtors ledgers
  • Respond to queries and resolve issues
  • Compile bank lodgements and take lodgements to the bank
Requirements:
  • 12+ months experience in sales ledger and credit control
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Xero software and MS Excel
  • Ability to commit to the duration of the contract
