Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Greenwich Health Ltd. As an Urgent Treatment Centre Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Main Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for patients assigned through the streaming process.
- Perform assessments, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment and care using advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
- Assess diagnostics, including ECGs, bloods, urinalysis, and X-rays.
- Discuss treatment options with patients and carers, considering their medical, social, psychological, religious, and cultural requirements.
- Instigate and implement clinical management and treatment changes when appropriate.
- Contribute to specific care guidelines and standards supporting patient care across the health economy.
- Implement Health and Safety and Risk Management procedures.
- Deliver aspects of the Clinical Governance Agenda.
- Contribute to and manage auditing in the UTC.
- Have overall responsibility for other members of the clinical team within the UTC.
Requirements
- Qualified Advanced Practitioner (Masters)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Primary, Urgent, or Emergency Care within the last 5 years
- Knowledge of clinical systems (EMIS/Cerner/Adastra/CLEO)
- Good interpersonal and patient care skills
- Good written presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Support and develop the implementation of change processes
- Active Professional Registration GMC or NMC
