Job Title: Automotive Electronics Test Engineer

Techniche Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Electronics Test Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HILS (Hardware-In-The-Loop) and Labcar Testing: Conduct thorough testing of automotive electronics systems using HILS and Labcar methodologies.
  2. Development of HILS Systems: Support and lead the development of HILS systems for Body Electronics and Powertrain systems.
  3. Management of HILS Testing: Manage HILS testing on Electrical Integrated Platforms and ensure timely completion of testing.
  4. Issue Resolution: Collaborate with test and design departments to resolve issues with HILS models and testing.
  5. Technical Coordination: Serve as the focal technical point for all HILS-related matters with Japanese counterparts, ensuring compliance with Nissan design/test standards/specifications and regulatory requirements.
  6. Test Planning: Create test plans to meet project and design milestones.
  7. Test Procedure Development: Develop testing procedures, confirm vehicle specifications, and arrange test parts as required.
  8. Project Leadership: Assume overall vehicle test technical coordination role where required.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Formalize test results reporting to design sections and upper management, and conduct root cause investigations and countermeasure recommendations.
  10. Field Investigation Support: Provide support for field investigations as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Education: Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  2. Experience: Relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development, with a minimum of two vehicle developments, or equivalent experience.
  3. Travel Requirements: Able to travel abroad, typically for a few days to two weeks, but occasionally for longer periods and at short notice.
  4. Technical Skills: Understanding of electrical theory, electronic device operation, software application into automotive ECUs, and risk assessment of software modifications.
  5. Software Proficiency: Proficient in D-Space, CANalyzer, CAPL, CANoe, CANape, and Matlab software or similar.
