We are seeking an experienced English Language Assessment Research Lead to join our Assessment Research and Analysis team in the English Language Teaching division. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Research and Analysis team in the design and continuous validation of English language tests. This includes documenting, carrying out, improving, and automating research and analysis processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or published papers in language assessment, computational linguistics, applied linguistics, or a related field, and knowledge of English Language Teaching assessment. You will also need to be able to handle large data sets accurately and efficiently, and have programming capability in Python, R, or similar language. Additionally, you should be familiar with Rasch measurement concepts and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This is a full-time position, based in Oxford, UK. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
