The Job:

This Lead Infrastructure Development Specialist role involves overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects within the Severn Trent Water framework.

  • Manage and deliver large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects within the Severn Trent Water region.
  • Lead project teams, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring all project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all project stages.
  • Report regularly on project progress, risks, and performance to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Project Management experience within the water or infrastructure sectors.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2).
  • Water Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, and wastewater systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and managing expectations.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls effectively.
  • Health & Safety: Strong focus on HSE standards, with a track record of delivering projects safely.
