Aerospace Repair Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an Aerospace Repair Specialist to join our team at Airbus UK's Wing Repairs department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining repairs for wings across the Airbus commercial fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop repair designs using CAD tools to define the repair and provide instructions on how to install it;
  • Perform static stress analysis to ensure the repaired structure is strong enough;
  • Conduct fatigue and damage tolerance analysis to guarantee the repaired structure remains safe for the aircraft's life.
Requirements:
  • Currently studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Nice to have experience with design tools, such as CAD;

Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance is mandatory. This role requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
