Handyperson Specialist Position

We are seeking an experienced Handyperson Specialist to join our team in Wimborne, working closely with our commercial facilities management team to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair work, with a focus on preventative maintenance practices.

1. Maintain plumbing systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
2. Carry out descaling operations on shower heads at eye wash stations to maintain water quality.
3. Regularly test fire alarms to guarantee compliance with safety regulations.
4. Inspect plant rooms, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize performance.
5. Preventative maintenance tasks, such as rotating belts in the plant room, to minimize downtime.
6. Day-to-day repairs and maintenance tasks, including lighting, flooring, and other general maintenance needs.

We offer a competitive salary of £15.79 per hour (PAYE) or £20 per hour (Umbrella), along with benefits that reflect the importance of this role in maintaining our facilities.
