About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Orthotist to join our dynamic team at Opcare under Ability Matters Group as a Clinical Lead.

As a key member of our senior clinical team, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding less experienced orthotists, graduates, and students while providing direct line management support.

You will also be instrumental in advancing the delivery of our orthotics service by embracing evidence-based medicine and clinical governance principles.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the clinical team meets targets and is engaged with company objectives
  • Attending resource meetings with the Regional Clinical and Operational Lead (RCOL) and assisting as a point of contact when RCOL is on leave
  • Delivering high-quality care for all patients and ensuring the smooth running of our OCS services
  • Mentoring and developing less experienced orthotists, graduates, and students
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Reporting on regional clinical activities to the senior management team

Requirements:

  • Certified Orthotist or equivalent qualification
  • BSc Prosthetics and Orthotics or HND Orthotics
  • Must be fully HCPC Registered
