About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Cameron Clarke Associates. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to our clients, incorporating the following activities:

  • Carrying out PPM (preventative planned maintenance) on Fire detection and AOV systems
  • Carrying out reactive fault calls
  • Carrying out small works
  • Working as part of a team
  • Conduct site surveys to assist the office-based estimator in quoting for small works
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Understand the client KPI's associated with planned and reactive calls
  • Out of hours London callout rota one in eight weeks
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to clients
  • Carry out PPM and reactive fault calls on Fire detection and AOV systems
  • Perform small works and conduct site surveys
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Understand and meet client KPI's
Requirements
  • Experience in fault finding essential
  • Experience in taking downloads on addressable systems
  • Experience in the Fire industry is essential (minimum of 2 years)
  • Knowledge of Kentec, Morley, Advance, Siemens, CTEC panels desired
  • An understanding of the relevant British Standards for Fire Alarms (BS5839-1 and BS5839-6)
  • FIA certification desired
  • Take ownership and responsibility of tasks and to ensure they are completed within deadlines
  • Deliver customer service to the highest level
  • IT skills including Outlook and Excel an advantage
  • Must have a permanent right to work in the UK
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence

  • Holiday – 22 days rising by 1 additional day per annum for every year served to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 Bank Holiday days and birthday leave day
