Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Andrews Recruitment Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs for a diverse range of projects.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our team. You will be responsible for leading the design of mechanical services on large projects, as well as mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop initial strategic concepts that meet project briefs and regulatory standards
  • Ensure solid technical delivery and quality management
  • Mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the team leader to monitor financial performance and explore innovative working methods
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders
