About the Role
Lidl is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a District Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a district of Lidl stores, ensuring a positive and motivated work environment, and driving business growth through effective management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a district of Lidl stores, including line management of Store Managers
- Develop and implement annual business plans for the district
- Analyse and optimise stock movements to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Support the implementation of company strategy in the district
- Oversee store refurbishments, new openings, and re-openings
- Complete regular cash management checks and district tours with the Sales Executive
- Support projects through analysis and provision of feedback
Requirements
- Minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline or a minimum of three years management experience
- Excellent communication, planning, organisation, and analytical skills
- A full clean driving licence
- Organised, flexible, motivated, and a hard-working leader
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team

- Competitive salary of £48,500 rising to £79,000 after 3 years
