The County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust seeks an accomplished Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon to deliver high-quality patient care across the trust. This is a full-time Consultant position, requiring a comprehensive approach to breast surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to consultants in other disciplines as needed
  • Cover for consultant colleagues during leave periods
  • Supervise and manage junior medical staff
  • Contribute to teaching, examination, and accreditation duties
  • Participate in medical audit and implement recommendations
  • Collaborate in research programmes approved by the trust's ethics committee

Salary Information: The salary for this position is estimated at £145,000 - £175,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. As a senior Consultant, you will be responsible for managing your time effectively to meet the demands of the role.
