About the Role:

  • Leading the commercial operations team to ensure the successful financial completion of projects.
  • Protecting the company's exposure to financial risks and adhering to commercial procedures.
  • Coordinating with, reporting to, and implementing reasonable directives from senior management.
  • Ensuring timely submission of relevant data to monitor and analyze individual contract performance.
  • Liaising with contracts managers on day-to-day commercial administration of contracts.

Requirements:

  • Sound and comprehensive understanding of the construction industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of measurement and valuation.
  • Good knowledge of standard forms of contract.
  • Ability to negotiate with clients/sub-contractors and draft sub-contracts.
  • Knowledge of CIS.
  • Ability to produce accurate monthly cost and value reports and outturn financial forecasts.
