Front Office Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Operations Manager to join our team at the 4-star Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel in Dorking. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, with experience in managing front office teams and implementing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty. They will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the front desk, ensuring that all guests receive a warm welcome and are provided with a memorable stay.
As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the hotel's overall strategy and play a leading role in driving business performance. They will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, and will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive revenue growth and cost savings.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating the front office team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Managing the front desk operation, including check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest complaints
- Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive revenue growth and cost savings
The successful candidate will have a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including discounts on food and accommodation, opportunities for learning and development, and a fun and supportive work environment.
