Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our client's team in Thatcham. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for setting, programming, and operating Amada press brake machines to produce bespoke metal products for various industries.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium, and possess strong problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality outputs. A good understanding of engineering drawings and ability to read them is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating Amada press brake machines
  • Programming and operating machines (desirable but not essential)
  • Quality checking of own work
  • Using hand and power tools
