We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Science in Sport PLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Management: Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures to minimize risks in the manufacturing environment.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Promptly respond to safety incidents, accidents, or near-miss events, and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes.
- Training and Employee Education: Coach managers and train employees on health and safety practices, including accident response and emergency procedures.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, conduct regular audits, and report findings to senior management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Proven track record of implementing effective safety management systems and investigating incidents.
- Ability to lead by example, build a safety-first culture, and influence all levels of the organization.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
