Sports Coach Position

We are seeking an experienced sports coach to join our primary school in Hillingdon on a full-time basis with an immediate start.

\

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to deliver and support sports sessions, as well as work as a teaching assistant in YR6.

\

  • Work in a 'good' school with a committed and experienced senior leadership team.\
  • A long-term fixed supply post with a view to a permanent school-based contract.\
  • Ideal for graduates looking to gain experience within a school delivering PE.\
  • Deliver high-quality sports coaching and develop the skills of students.\
  • Support the development of the school's sports programme.\
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to achieve shared goals.\
  • Contribute to the overall success and progress of the school.\
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.\
  • Continuously improve practice through reflection, training, and professional development.\
  • Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Check if applicable.\

Job Specifications:

  • \
  • Experience of working within sports or PE.\
  • Confident in taking small groups delivering sports sessions.\
  • Have a degree or equivalent experience.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.\
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.\
  • Passion for education and working with young people.\
  • Familiarity with UK education system and curriculum.\
  • Understanding of child protection policies and procedures.\
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Check (if applicable).\
