Job Title: Site Electrician

Location: UK-wide

Pay Range/details: Competitive salary + OTE

Contract Type: Permanent

We're working with a leading control system solutions provider to the infrastructure industry, delivering projects from refurbishments to full end-to-end turnkey solutions in the core markets of Transport, Airports, and Tunnels.

The role is for a Site Electrician, where you will be responsible for ensuring equipment installations meet the required standards before testing begins, performing site acceptance tests, fault-finding, and resolving any wiring issues.

Key Responsibilities – Site Electrician
  1. Verify that equipment installations meet the required standards prior to testing
  2. Perform testing of a system according to installation and commissioning test documents
  3. Configure field devices
  4. Perform site acceptance tests, fault-find, and correct any wiring issues
  5. Conduct client testing according to test documents
  6. Produce documentation such as RAMs; weekly progress reports, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements – Site Electrician
  1. Hold a HND level or above in electrical or control engineering
  2. Hold a full UK driving license
  3. Have no criminal convictions due to security clearances required by airport authorities

This is a field-based role covering different sites throughout the UK and would be suited for someone with a flexible approach to travelling and working away from home. There is a potential to work a mix of days and nights whilst working on site dependent upon the project and client site access availability.
