At Age UK, we're looking for a talented Sales Assistant to join our Northallerton team. As a valued member of our retail team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers, while contributing to the successful day-to-day running of the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting sales and stock rotation to maximise shop sales and profits
  • Organising displays and maintaining a tidy store environment
  • Representing Age UK in a professional manner and reflecting our core values
  • Handling and lifting bags of stock (up to 10kgs)

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's
  • Teamwork and lone working skills
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and commitment to equal opportunities
  • Flexible approach to work, including additional days to cover holidays and sickness
