CAD Project Designer Job Description

Anderson Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CAD Project Designer to join their team in Tewkesbury. As a CAD Project Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality construction drawings and details, as well as estimating and client presentation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce accurate and detailed material lists and order ancillary materials within agreed timescales.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive CAD library.
  3. Ensure CAD revisions are up to date and issued to relevant parties.
  4. Modify and update CAD drawings as required.
  5. Liaise with construction site managers and client project managers to establish scope of works.
  6. Problem solve any unforeseen issues with the design.
  7. Advise the project team of any restricted build issues identified from CAD drawing production.
Requirements:
  1. Competent IT skills in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  2. Attention to detail.
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Good understanding of plan drawing.
  5. Ability to multi-task and be proactive.
  6. Excellent organisational skills.
Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Up to £35,000 depending on experience + 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Insurance + Cycle to work scheme + potential to earn 5% annual bonus.
