About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at ARMS Innovations Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in the monitoring, maintenance, improvement, and control of our production, automation, and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve Production Targets: Ensure production targets are consistently met every shift, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Procedures and Prioritize Safety: Oversee operating procedures, always prioritizing safety and adhering to industry regulations.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular PPM maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems efficiently, using your expertise to find creative solutions.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies for ongoing process and performance enhancement, continually seeking ways to improve our operations.
  • Repair Equipment and Automated Machinery: Maintain and repair equipment and automated systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Document and Report Issues: Accurately document and report any issues encountered during shifts, providing valuable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with other teams and departments to achieve production goals through effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Relevant Engineering Experience: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a related field, with equivalent or transferable skills.
  • Full and Legal Rights to Work in the UK: You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot sponsor or support VISA applicants at this time.
  • Essential Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a related field, previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer, and familiarity with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
