Our esteemed international school in London is committed to fostering academic excellence. We are seeking a dedicated Physics and General Science Teacher to join our faculty, teaching students from diverse backgrounds in Grades 6 to 12.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will develop and deliver the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Physics and General Science curriculum, promoting scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Key responsibilities include designing engaging lessons, preparing assessments, and utilizing student-centered teaching strategies. A strong educational background, including a degree in Physics or a related field, and teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent), are required.

Job Requirements:
  • Develop and implement the IB MYP and DP Physics and General Science curriculum
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons promoting scientific inquiry and critical thinking
  • Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols
  • Differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles
  • Utilize student-centered teaching strategies and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish interdisciplinary links

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
