Location: Chesterfield

We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality education and a commitment to enhancing students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the current curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' development against individual targets.
  • Manage and professionally report on classroom behaviours or incidents.
  • Adapt teaching methods to maximise each pupil's learning potential.
  • Mark and assess classwork and homework assignments.
  • Maintain professional communication with staff members and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching upper or lower KS2 pupils.
  • Strong communication skills with staff and parents.
  • Ability to liaise with the safeguarding team in a professional manner.
  • Genuine passion for motivating and developing pupils' learning.
  • Full-time availability during term time.
  • Competency in marking pupils' work and setting relevant targets.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.
