Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a varied client portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
* Preparation of statutory financial statements, primarily for Limited companies and Charities.
* Lead Companies Act audits, including planning, fieldwork, completion, stock take attendances and systems recording.
* Oversee junior staff, including workflow management, review work, and training.
* Preparation of letters and reports in relation to audit and the financial statements.
* Preparation of corporation tax returns for Limited companies.
* Build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries.
* Lead WIP reporting for your portfolio, maintaining complete recording and filing.
* Monitor and interpret changes in legislation and industry trends.

Requirements:

* AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified or AAT Level 4 studying.
* Recent practice experience including statutory audits, group audits, and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
* Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress.
* A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
* Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
* Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
* Commercial business acumen.
