About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic clinical team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care, promoting health and well-being, and contributing to the practice's quality targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous practice, working independently to deliver timely and effective patient care.
  • Promote health and well-being through health promotion, education, screening, and therapeutic communication skills.
  • Support patients with urgent acute medical needs through duty practitioner rota cover.
  • Ensure patients receive high-quality clinical care, delivered in a timely manner.
  • Supply and administer medicines as indicated to address patient need.
  • Refer patients directly to other services/agencies as appropriate, in line with practice policy.
  • Contribute to the practice's quality targets, sustaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and set up new patient services, participating in initiatives to improve existing services.
  • Ensure professional practice adheres to organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of own clinical practice through quality assurance strategies, such as audit and peer review.
  • Participate in continuing professional development opportunities to maintain up-to-date evidence-based knowledge and competence.
  • Record accurate consultation data in patient records, in accordance with the latest NMC guidance and other pertinent standards.
Person Specification
  • Registered with NMC or HCPC.
  • Clinical skills qualifications or evidence of equivalent experience.
