Become a Junior Chemist at British American Tobacco
We are seeking a junior chemist to join our Analytical Development team in Southampton. In this role, you will work closely with experienced scientists to develop and validate automated workflows for mass spectrometry-based non-targeted analysis.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline, with experience in data analysis and scripting. They will also have a basic knowledge of mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry.
About the Placement
This is a 12-month placement opportunity starting in September 2025. We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £24,000 per annum, plus benefits such as health insurance, flexible holiday plans, and access to online learning platforms.
