We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at W P Recruitment & HR Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing low voltage electrical control systems, as well as commissioning instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of low voltage electrical control systems
- Installation and commissioning of instrumentation systems, including pressure, levels, temperature, and flow
- Working to technical specifications and blueprints to determine and plan layout
- Test, inspect, diagnose, and implement solutions
- Provide technical reports and documentation
- Collaborate with other trades staff and contractors
- Ensure adherence to health and safety, regulatory, and quality standards
Requirements:
- Full electrical apprenticeship or minimum of level 3 qualifications
- 18th Edition and ECS Gold Card
- 2391 certification, IPAF/PASMA, or SSSTS
- Water industry experience
- Good level of computer literacy
- Full driver's license
- Ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
Salary and Benefits:
- £18-20 per hour DOE
- £200 call out standby/week
- 1.25 per hour call out
- OTE £45,000 plus per annum
- Van, Fuel Card, Laptop, and Phone
