At OKB KONE plc, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Professional to join our team. As an Elevator and Escalator Sales Executive, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and developing new customer relationships, managing opportunities with new customers, and closing deals professionally to increase KONE's profitability.

This role is entirely focused on new business sales, and while previous experience in the lifts and escalators industry is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for someone who can sell with confidence and maturity, is digitally savvy, and comfortable with communicating complex information.

The role will involve a mix of office and field-based work, with travel across the region, and an expectation of face-to-face meetings with potential clients. You will need to be collaborative in your approach and able to influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, as well as building sustainable customer partnerships.

This role is suited to someone who can work using their own initiative, self-motivated with a desire to succeed against monthly targets.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Proactively develop and create customer relationships in your areas of responsibility, accountable for developing KONE's position in your customer base or market area, and creating and communicating leads and sales opportunities for the entire KONE sales team.
  • Sell: Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales targets, validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality, and safety, and maintains full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits.

Skills and experience required for this role include:

  • Mastering customer contacts, presentations, and negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, aftersales activities, basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
  • Previous experience and results in Sales and customer relationship management.
  • Industry experience is desirable, but not essential; enthusiasm in your approach to new business is more important.
  • Good IT skills, CRM Salesforce.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
