We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will lead the design and control of assembly fixtures, manage process documentation, and implement workflow improvements to enhance production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and control jigs and fixtures for various assembly types.
- Update and maintain manufacturing process documentation (SOPs).
- Implement and manage changes to processes and tooling.
- Analyze and reduce process scrap through improved workflow techniques.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Experience with CAD, preferably Solidworks and PDM.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Sage 200.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
