**Job Summary:**

As a key member of the accounts department, the successful candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure financial compliance and optimize operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist the Senior Finance Manager with month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and invoice monitoring.
* Prepare management reports, contra accounts, and journals for internal stakeholders.
* Support credit control by applying for credit cover and chasing delayed payments.
* Collaborate with the Factory team on fresh orders, stock clearance, and procedural updates.
* Provide holiday cover for stock management, purchase orders, bank deposits, and payments.
* Process invoices for transport, storage, and stock, and request supplier credit notes.

**Requirements:**

* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with relevant experience or newly qualified looking for a step up.
* Proven ability to deliver accurate and timely financial information within agreed deadlines.
* Experience of leading and mentoring a team to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.
* Strong and effective communication skills as a business partner to senior stakeholders across the business.
* Commutable distance to Liskeard, as the role is predominantly office-based.
