About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Project Manager to join our team at London North Eastern Railway (LNER). As a key member of our digital team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of projects that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of digital projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and team performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project management role, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead multiple stakeholders at all levels, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business acumen and understanding of digital transformation principles.
  • Experience with budget management and control, with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis.
  • Ability to develop and implement complex plans, managing multiple suppliers and dependencies.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Prince2 or equivalent certification (desirable but not essential).
