Eye Care Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and registered Eye Care Assistant to join our team at Mount Alvernia Hospital. As an integral part of our ophthalmic surgical department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support during surgeries, working closely with consultant-led teams.
About the Role: In this key position, you will perform various tasks to ensure seamless operations in the operating theatre, including preparation and cleaning of equipment, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and providing exceptional patient care. Your expertise as a registered healthcare professional will be crucial in delivering outstanding results and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Requirements:
- We require current registration with NMC/HCPC.
- You should possess excellent teamwork and independent working skills, along with a warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential.
