About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP developer to join our team at Oscar Technology. As a mid-to-senior level full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing business-critical applications, websites, and integrations using PHP and other technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions using PHP and other technologies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience with PHP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Solid understanding of PHP fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and OWASP security principles.
  • Experience with Laravel or Symfony framework.
  • Use of modern workflow tools, such as Git and Composer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development approach.
  • Experience with front-end and backend unit and integration testing.
  • Use of CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue or React.
